Parish Meeting Officers

Chairman's Address

This site has been put together to enhance our ability to get Parish information to you quicker and enable you to participate in the decision making and become more involved to help keep Kelshall the village that it is!

Parish Meetings are similar to Parish Councils and have the same powers but they do not have elected councillors. We operate with a ChairPerson, a Clerk, Vice Chair and have recently co opted an IT guru. We hold two meetings a year April and October at which residents can discuss and vote on issues relating to the running of the Parish. Minutes of our meetings detailing our decisions and discussions have always been available for perusal but we hope that the website will encourage more people to become involved and take part in the decision making! We invite our local County and District Councillors to each meeting and also encourage a representative of the Rural Police team to attend so that we can get our views across to the people that matter straight away.

Participate in the future of Kelshall and help keep it the delightful village that it is
