Village Hall

Kelshall Village Hall

The Village Hall at Kelshall was originally the School, built in 1895. It has excellent facilities including the Hall itself which extends to over 1,000 sq.ft., a quiet meeting room at the back with glazed doors to the rear garden, kitchen areas, bar facilities and cloakrooms. The Hall is accessible and has facilities for disabled persons.

Typical events that have been held at the village hall include Pre-School, charity lunches, children’s parties, evening dances and parties, lectures, committee meetings and exhibitions. Regular functions include a ‘Pub’ evenings, harvest supper, meetings of the Parish Meeting and the N Herts Villages Research Group.

There is chair and table accommodation for up to 90 supported by a well equipped kitchen, including cooker, microwave, refrigerators and dishwasher. A full range of cutlery, crockery and glasses is available. The village hall has its own car parking for approximately 30 cars.

The village hall is managed by a committee of volunteers and relies solely on the revenue from bookings, donations, legacies and grant aid.
